The CHARM Lab investigates the cognitive, emotional, and social mechanisms that drive communication processes shaping health behaviors and decision-making in today’s evolving media landscape. Using surveys, online and laboratory experiments, eye-tracking, neuroimaging, and computational methods, we study both effective and counterproductive communication. Our goal is to identify how communication can be most powerfully leveraged to foster healthier choices and meaningful behavior change.
